2. Services

Wise Web Studio provides web design and development services including but not limited to:

• Landing page design and development
• Website design and development
• E-commerce store design and development
• Website maintenance

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for each project are defined in a written proposal agreed upon by both parties before work begins.

3. Project Process

Proposal & Agreement

All projects begin with a written proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and fixed price. Work begins only after the client approves the proposal and the deposit payment is received.

Payment Terms

• A deposit of 50% of the total project value is required before work begins
• The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, before the website is launched or files are delivered
• Payments are accepted via bank transfer or other agreed methods

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing all content required for the project, including:

• Text copy for all pages
• Images, videos, and other media
• Logo and brand assets
• Any specific requirements or references

Delays caused by late content delivery may affect the agreed timeline. Wise Web Studio is not responsible for project delays resulting from incomplete or late content from the client.

Revisions

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the proposal. Revisions beyond the included rounds will be quoted and billed separately.

4. Intellectual Property

Ownership

Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns the final website and all its associated files. Wise Web Studio retains no ownership over the delivered work.

Portfolio Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Wise Web Studio reserves the right to display the completed project in its portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials.

Third-Party Assets

If the project uses third-party assets such as stock photos, fonts, or plugins, the client is responsible for ensuring appropriate licenses are in place for their use.

5. Hosting & Domain

Hosting and domain registration are optional services available as add-ons, discussed and agreed upon separately from the website development project.

If the client uses Wise Web Studio's hosting, the service is provided on a monthly or annual basis. Termination of hosting does not affect the client's ownership of their website files.

Domain names are always registered in the client's name. The client retains full ownership and control of their domain at all times.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• If the client cancels the project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable
• If Wise Web Studio is unable to complete the project, a proportional refund will be issued based on work completed
• Completed and delivered work is non-refundable

7. Limitation of Liability

Wise Web Studio is not liable for:

• Loss of revenue, clients, or business opportunities resulting from the website
• Downtime, data loss, or security breaches caused by third-party hosting or services
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
• Search engine rankings, traffic, or conversion results — these depend on many factors outside our control

Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the project. This obligation continues after the project is completed.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
